Rabina shares her experience with the Foundation

Rabina Shrestha

Rabina was one of the first 10 Rukmini Scholars. She completed grade 10 in 2014 and also took the SLC exams. She was one of eight girls who passed the SLC exams with excellent scores.

After graduating from high school, Rabina didn’t want to stop there. She is now studying in class 11 at one our partner schools, Pharping Higher Secondary School. Since Rabina’s family is still facing economic hardship, our partner school is waiving the monthly fee and our foundation will bear the costs for uniform and textbook. Rabina is extremely happy that she can continue her study.

Rabina’s success does not stop there. In August 2015, Rabina was selected to take part in the prestigious development program by our friends at Women LEAD Nepal. We are confident that with the tools she has learned and with the guidance of the Women LEAD mentors, Rabina will become one of the leaders in her community.
