Namaste and a very Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.Thank you for being a subscriber and for being interested in the great work we are about to take on together. This past year we established our organization and developed an infrastructure in Nepal to deliver on our promise of providing education, physical wellness and mentoring support to girls in rural Nepal that need this the most. This coming year, with your support and through the hard work of our staff and volunteers, 10 girls from a rural area in Nepalwill be able to stay in school and begin their journey towards transforming their lives and the lives of those in their community.
How big of a difference will education make in the lives of these girls?

- Early marriage is likely in order to reduce the economic burden for the family
- Being pregnant before she is ready
- Unhealthy children and a higher number of children as a result of early pregnancy
- She will be reliant on her husband for her livelihood
- She will not be educated enough to seek proper medical care or her legal rights
- If she is not married early, she may have to seek work in the city or even go abroad, which could place her in grave danger of being abused or trafficked

- Since she is not an economic burden, her family supports her pursuit of education
- She is learning valuable skills that she can use throughout her life
- She will become eligible for college and be able to seek professional work
- She can marry when she is more mature and will be able to have healthier and fewer children
- She will become a leader in her community and be able to mentor other girls to help them get out of poverty

The difference that education can make is immeasurable, but none of this is possible without the support of our friends who realize that we can make small changes in our lives in order to make a huge impact on the lives of these girls.
