Here at the Rukmini Foundation, some of our greatest joys come from watching our scholars grow, flourish, and begin to shape their own futures. Today, our hearts are filled with immense pride and happiness as we welcome one of our very own graduate scholars, Yojana, back into our family—this time, not as a student, but as a cherished colleague!
Yojana with her family.
If you’ve been part of our community for a while, Yojana’s name might sound familiar. She is a bright young woman from Dakshinkali Municipality, whose educational journey from Grade 9 through to her +2 in Mass Communication was supported by your generosity. We watched her blossom from a determined student into a confident graduate, and now, we have the incredible privilege of welcoming her back.

Yojana’s story is one of resilience, faith, and passion. As the eldest daughter in her family, she carries her responsibilities with grace and determination. Her commitment to her family is truly inspiring; she dreams of becoming a teacher not only for her own fulfillment but so she can support her parents and help with her younger siblings’ education.

And what a wonderful teacher she will be!
Though she excelled in Mass Communication, Yojana has always held a childhood dream close to her heart: to become a teacher. She shared with us that she loves spending time with younger students, talking with them, and helping them discover new things. We can’t imagine a more perfect calling for someone with her warm and generous spirit.

Outside of her professional aspirations, Yojana is a vibrant and creative soul. From her school days, she has loved hosting programs, and she actively participates in her church community through singing, dancing, and even playing the drum set! She’s also a talented artist, having learned nail art while working in an ornament shop—a skill she enjoys alongside her love for makeup.
Yojana says she feels deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with the foundation that supported her for so many years. In her own words, she doesn’t focus on the level of the task—she always gives her 100% effort, finding deep satisfaction in working with dedication.
Yojana, that is a philosophy we all admire, and it is exactly the kind of heart we are thrilled to have on our team. Your journey is a beautiful, full-circle moment that embodies the very essence of our mission. We are so excited to have your energy, your talents, and your unwavering spirit as part of our daily work. Welcome home, Yojana. We are so happy to have you back in the Rukmini Foundation family.
