Muna Tamang

Muna Tamang lives in Bansbari, one of the more remote villages in the Pharping region. She lives with her parents and a younger sister.

Muna and her sister both attend Seti Devi Secondary, a government school near their village. Her parents are daily laborers and their income is barely enough to support daily expenses, and any educational expense is considered a luxury. Muna was in danger of having to drop out, but through our program, she will be able to continue school.

She wants to be a Nurse in the future because she feels she will be able to earn a good salary to help her family. Her current favorite subject is Nepali.
